In case you haven't heard, Isa's new book (Vegan Brunch) is out and it's fantastic! I had a chance this weekend to try out some of the different recipes, and everything was fabulous! No more wondering what to serve for brunch when you have a houseful coming over to eat.
From quiches, omelets, scrambles and frittatas to Ethiopian Crepes, Brazilian French Toast, Smoky Shitakes, Jalapeno Garlic Grits, Blueberry Ginger Spelt Muffins, Smoked Almond Gravy and a plethora of coffee cakes. This book IS brunch. The last and final word, as far as I'm concerned. You can check out the book here, with some sample recipes too. With Father's Day just around the corner, shouldn't we all be thinking about cooking up an awesome brunch, vegan-style?!

I can't wait to try!
Oh my god, we just got our copy in the mail this weekend and I couldn't stop drooling over the recipes! Which ones did you try?
Hi Anitra. I had the grits, biscuits and almond gravy, the blueberry ginger spelt muffins, omelets, blueberry sauce, smoky shitakes... Everything was amazing!
My copy just came in the mail, too, and I've been ogling the peanut butter waffles - and just about everything else - but haven't tried anything yet. Smoky shiitakes sound good. Everything sounds good and I just can't choose!
Oh course, this is just about the only newly released cookbook I don't have yet... It's going on the wish list though!
I was looking for a review of this book! Thanks for posting one! I can't wait to go look at it! I love breakfast!
I can't wait to try it. I listened to Isa talking about her book on a video interview and was so excited about the omlettes and using different salts. Thanks for the review!
And you got a very nice shout-out in it, Julie! I can't wait to try that wonderful cherry sage sausage recipe! :)
Hannah, you'll love it. It's a fun book.
I hear ya on breakfast Amanda!
I'll have to look for that video interview Vegan Nutritionista. Sounds like a good one.
Hi Deirdre! Ha, that was a really nice shout-out, wasn't it? I cracked up when I saw it.
Julie-
Thanks for providing the world with it's first official vegan cooking show! The visual really helps and the end product is always amazing. I particularly enjoy the guest videos- like authors showing how to make baked goods. I saw this cookbook the other day, and I already have VWaV so this goes on the list next! :-)
yay!!
now it's your turn again!
