Chocolate Mocha Cakes

Okay, this is definitely a record for me, posting two days in a row. I just had to share a chocolate recipe in time for Valentine's Day (or any other occasion that calls for eating chocolate). We were able to quickly film a segment just in the nick of time, and right before we tore apart our kitchen. The recipe and video are up on Everyday Dish. I hope you give these cakes a try. They are so good!

I'd better get back to painting, so we can finish this big job that we started. I can't wait until we're done. These paint fumes are killing me.

Happy Baking!

Mmmmm these look scrumptious! And it just so happens that Valentines Day happens to be both my wedding anniversary and the anniversary of the day I met my husband (who needs any more excuse than that to make these?!?!)

The kitchen looks awesome too!

Wow! Those look delectable. Who wouldn't love someone who made those for them on V-day?

You better believe I will be giving those a try, except mine won't be heart shaped. I think I will use the xmas molds I bought from Kitchen Kaboodle which cost me $20!

Oh wow, these look so good with the ganache just dripping down the sides. I have two mini heart cake pans and this is perfect!

Hope your kitchen is finished soon. Saw the photos on flickr and it's looking great!!

Oh Julie! What perfect little cakes!
Can't wait to try them!

I feel for you guys. We have a lot of painting to do here but we're waiting until we can do it with the windows open because the fumes make me sick. But I can't wait for warmer weather because I want the house finished already!

I'm sure your kitchen will look gorgeous :) I love Wainscoat :)Hang in there!

Hi, Julie: The recipe calls for 1.5 cups of all-purpose flour, but in the video, you use all-purpose and pastry. Was the total amount still 1.5 cups? It appeared that you used 1 cup all-purpose and 0.5 cup pastry. Thanks!
